Global warming occurs when air pollutants and greenhouses gases trap the heat on the Earth's surface. This process is responsible for climate change worldwide. The whole world faces extreme heat and cold waves, droughts and drastic changes in average temperature. At the moment, the world experiences the hottest years since the climate record history. Climate change has an immense impact on all aspects of nature and human life. Droughts decrease the harvest, cause starvation, lack of water recourses and force immigration to other areas of the world. A change in natural habitat destroys various animal and plant species. This essay argues that Global warming is the most significant environmental problem facing us today.
